Walk into eternity
Staring into the abyss at the Plantaran Komodo Resort in Flores, Indonesia. When I took this nearly 3 minute long exposure, it was pitch black aside from the lights along the pier. Yet I was still able to capture the last remnants of sunlight that were not visible to the naked eye.

I captured this at Mesa Arch in Canyonlands at around 4am. As luck would have it, I made fast friends with two professional photographers that had also staked their spot for sunrise about five hours earlier. It was a long night but we made the most of it.
Majestic Sunrise
The iconic sunburst through Mesa Arch in Canyonlands, Utah. I waited all night for this shot and it was totally worth it. About an hour before sunrise, there were at least 50 other photographers trying to get the same shot.

Arches National Park comes alive right after sunrise. I was even able to capture the faint glimpse of a rainbow center frame.
In Jupiter's Shadow
The Milky Way and Jupiter perfectly frame Balanced Rock in Arches National Park. I was very lucky to capture this just as the headlights of a passing car painted the rocks.
